Ordering Books and CD's Online
It reportedly made no profit for over 2 years, and has now grown into a household name with millions and millions of pounds worth of products sold every year. Amazon has it's critics, but my many experiences of dealing with this company have been nothing but good experiences.

I can assure you that we are not on commission from Amazon - I'm just really fond of them - they 'do what it says on the tin'!
The site itself is easy to navigate and what you are looking for can generally be found quickly and easily.
My payment details are saved on their system so I don't have to input my full details each time, which adds to a good experience.
With (reportedly) such large storage, I have rarely ordered items which have not been in stock. The items which have been out of stock have generally not been delayed by much before delivery.

Their Prices
Although I often think that they could potentially charge less than they do, due to their large buying power and not selling from individual shops, they are very competitive with their prices (although I have recently found one item I was looking to purchase much cheaper elsewhere - so I would still recommend shopping around!)
Returns Policy
On the few occasions that there have been issues with our purchases, we have found them to not quarrel in the slightest in accepting and refunsin/exchanging.
Bad Bits
Not really bad, but I would love them to pass on more savings to the customer.
