Our Favourite Companies
Our favourite companies are simply that - our favourites!.
They are either companies that we have had a great service from and would therefore recommend, or companies that have been heartely recommended by someone else. As we appreciate that you may be swayed by our recommendations, will not simply place a company here because 'somebody said', but look for evidence of great service - I, myself, have been stung in the past by recommendations on other websites which have actually been left by the companies themselves!
Even though we say that, we would still recommend that you seek out other independent reviews as it is best for our reputation if we are not responsible for a 'duff buy'!
Seeing The Wood From The Trees!:
Confusing to say the least is the amount of advertising we come across, day by day - each company or product claiming to be the next 'big thing', the solution to the problem that you didn't even know that you had!
SomlyWood.com is another voice to add to that 'noise' - but aiming to speak a little more clearly.
Asking questions of whether we do actually need some of these products and services, not afraid to 'say it as it is'.

Quinny (Prams and Pushchairs)
I have to say that at first, I struggled to justify the expense of choosing a Quinny pushchair over one of the cheaper models - but I haven't looked back since.
For ease of use, style, and simly the fact that it closed down to such a small size - I would highly recommend one.
They have been known to have a few problems over the years though.

Amazon (online books and much more)
I have heard people complaining on occasion about Amazon, but I personally have experienced little or no issue with this company, despite having placed many, many orders over the years.
The times when there have been minor issues - they have been dealt with quickly and easily at no cost to myself and very little inconvenience to myself.

Tommee Tippee
These guys make a whole host of products for bubies, toddlers etc, but our main praise is for their baby bottles and general customer service.
In the lead up to the birth of our first child, we almost exclusively purchases 'tommee tippee' products when it came to sterilisers, bottles etc. We found pretty much everything to be simple, easily cleaned etc.
When it came to the 'next size up' stuff however we had a couple of problems - but the customer service guys were great - and even sent us a few additional items to 'compensate'!

Tesco Home Delivery
These guys save us time and effort (potentially money too) nearly every week
On the rare occasions that there is a problem, it is quickly sorted, refunded, etc.
